Antiochus Ephiphanes made a decree that all peoples under his rule should accept Greek Culture and forsake their own customs.  After 3 years the Jews defeated the Greeks and rededicated the Temple.  This celebration is called Hanukkah today.  The decree of Antiochus that all people under his rule should adopt Greek culture is a prophecy of the end of days when the Beast system will require that all people on the earth follow the "New World Order".   The Beast system will oppose those who believe in Yeshua and seek to follow His Torah.
